About the Author
Meg Simons is a first time author of a children’s book. She based the character of Popcorn The Pony on an actual Welsh Pony she and her husband had many years ago. He was a very special pony; smart, gentle and good with other horses and animals. Meg has had this story kicking around in her head for the past 20 years. She and her husband are now both retired from the medical profession. It was 30 plus years for her, and 40 plus years for him. This gives Meg time to devote to the things that make her happy. She enjoys painting with oils, pastels, and watercolors. She also writes a column for her church newsletter and sings in the church choir. Meg has ideas for other Popcorn and Bobby adventures.
