Don't buy. It's not so much a book filled with strategies for the FSOT test as it is a very boring overview of the most basic facts relating to the test sections. Plus, entire sections seem lifted right out of other books and have no relationship to the FSOT at all. The situational decision making practice test mentions solider, the military, and the Air Force several times. Clearly the content wasn't originally created with the FSOT in mind. Get a different book.

This book is less a study guide and more just a collections of notes on subjects covered on the test. It gives the very basic information on the test and on test taking which can apply to any standardized test. The rest of the book is a collection of notes and a practice test. For example, there’s a 30 page summarize of US history. I would say this is a good amalgamation of notes but doesn’t answer much about the fsot or how what you re reading will tested. Overall, I would say the book might be a bit pricey for what you’re getting out of it and there are guides that relate to the test better.

I enjoyed the study guide and I think it improved my score but I think the practice tests were a little too easy. I also felt grammar section was way too dense. Not sure I know of a better guide, however.

This study guide is a good place to begin. The history section is an adequate substitute for an AP text, which helps to cover the Job Knowledge section. The Situational Judgement originated from military use and replaced the Bio section to evaluate judgment skills. The English Expression section gives you a good idea of what the FSOT will look like. I have taken the FSOT twice, unable to make it beyond the OA, and am using this guide again on my third FSOT.

The study guide is pretty good. Better than many who have only given it one star. At least it has a section on Situation Judgment. Although it is obvious that the Situational Judgment section was taken from some type of military study guide, it gives you helpful hints on how to address this section.It would be really nice if there were a FSOT study guide that actually addressed the Situational Judgment section. At least I could not find any.I also thought the historical and civics reviews were good as well.

This is my first time taking a test of this concept. Going thru this guideIts been a great help which its shows all types of subject. Having a knowlege of what might come up on the real test. Thank you guys for having this study guide.

I bought this partially because of the high rating on Amazon. Incredibly irrelevant to the exam itself. A scam.

This guide is extremely comprehensive. It is easy to read and flows really well.I would highly recommend it to others.
